He was also involved in the bio-industrial watershed programme in Koratput district in Odisha working with tribal farmers in planning and implementing watershed management works, soil and water conservation interventions and developing farmers’ collectives.

- 24×7 Call Centre set up with 7 ambulances in 9 acute tribal mandals covering 13 PHCs with 3.5 lakh population under ITDA, Utnoor
Started Tracking each case of pregnancy before due-date
Call-centre facilitates Birth-planning at hospitals providing call-based Free ambulance support to pregnant women (TO & FRO)
Automated SMS alerts to ANMs, Medical Officers, District Health Officer, Project Officer – for complete follow-up till delivery – Special website developed – callcenter.itdautnoor.com
- 1850+ (1878) institutional deliveries conducted in last one year
55% reduction in Home deliveries and infant mortality of 20 from 56 and C-sections of 86 – observed for first 1000 deliveries.
Commissioner, Health & Family Welfare, is replicating this model in 4 other tribal districts.
